My partner and I have just bought an 2 month old IRN 2 weeks ago.
We got him over the Christmas holidays so were both home and he became very tame. He would step up, fly around the house and land safely, would sit on my shoulder while i did the dishes, sit on my knee and climb up to peck at my necklace and when friends came over he was social, landing on them if they had food.
Today was back to work day

Do many IRN owners work? i work 8:00am until 5:00pm Monday - Friday. Have i done a terrible, cruel thing in getting a IRN if i am away most of the day?
He had plenty of food, the radio was left on, he has a swing and a toy, his cage is quite large and i even left a bean hanging from the roof of his cage as a little "project."
I'm only working for another six weeks until i go back to uni, but he will still be left at home 3 days a week.
Will he be ok? I hope i don't sound too rediculous!
