Nesting Materials
Hi
Basically anything will do,if they dont like it they will remove it from the nest which is good you know but you need something in the box otherwise eggs roll about and young can get spawled legs as there is nothing to hold onto.
I have used sugar cane mulch but it turns powdery easy which also is not great for the young.Untreated wood shavings is best as it stay together, just make sure its untreated shavings.
Best of luck for breeding season.
