i was wondering about what was said about how some birds just dont talk. i realised that yes this was true, but i was also watching the many youtubes vids(well cause im still in the works of getting one) and it made me think. theese bird at some point in time begin to asume that they are apart of our flock i.e humans, or that we are apart of there flock and we are some weird talking birds. either one it dosent matter cause they could theoretically identify with both bird and humans. so i though what if u were to use some of theese youtube vids were there are talking irns as a sort of positave reinforcement to teach the birds to talk along with your self doing the talking to the bird. after all dont most animal especially parrots learn by mimicing. i think by using theese youtube vids it would bring an extra card to the table and your bird might start talking and it might encourage them to talk at an ealier age. the reason why i think this is cause its not uncommon for parrots and gorriallas who know how to either speak or do sign languge to teach it to other animals in ther flock or group. how does this sound to any of u on this forum. am i on to somthing. if any of u have a ringneck that dosent speak at all would be willing to try this out. i think it might just do the trick. also to at what age to irns using begin trying to talk? please let me know on your feed back.
if people are willing to try this out, i would like to ask the admin to make this a stick so we could have some kind of track record to keep track of. after all there is so little information already on this bird. it would be nice to have some kind of data to go through. thanks
