Jeremy a question on my pair

Post by angie »

Ok.. I haven't seen mickey out of her nesting box for 3 days now. Since the last time I checked and there were three eggs.

I wonder if infact she does come out ever so briefly and I miss it or is kai expected to feed her while she is sitting on the eggs ?

Do they both parent, are they going to take it in turns, how does this all work now?

What should I keep a check on etc.

Thanks in advance for any help

Plus Mickey and Mallory (now placed in a new home as a breeder) the wild females, Mickey is now paired with Kai and they are about to be parronts.

She might be coming out very briefly or Kai will be going in to feed her.
He might even feed her at the entrance hole.

They will both raise the babies.

Just make sure when the eggs hatch that you keep up the food.

Thanks Jeremy,

I just hope Kai knows what to do. Being a pet bird, I hope he is feeding her properly. I do see him go inside and I have seen him at the entrance so I gather he is.
