Flight Suit

Post by Bird crazy »

The red thing Nila is playing with is his flight suit and this is as close to
getting it on him as we've come. But he loves to chew on it.

Too funny! I was going to try to order one so I can take my babies places but if they don't work any better I won't. I bought a feather tether and that's a joke. So...

Jen;

I've tried everything suggested with the flight suit. There is no way it's
going on Nila unless I just man handle him to get it on. I'm considering that, and then it says to take him outside immediately and give him treats so he associates it with good things. After all my attempts I associate it with sore fingers.

flight suit fight!!

Post by Darlene »

I think flight suits are NOT for IRNs. My Luna struggles, bites and makes a little fist and refuses to cooperate. I feel like a big bully. And if I am lucky enough to get it on him, He tries to chew it off. :oops: I'ts like he is insulted that I put it on him. So I don't put him through that any more. ... Yes, I think they are cute, but my IRN hates it.

I bought a feather tether for Carmen my new eclectus. I figure since she is still very young 13 weeks that I could get her used to it, I did not know a baby can get that loud and bite that hard. All I did was put it over her head, and this is from a species that is known for being calm and cool I dare not try with George. I would probably loose a finger or two.
