I am getting a green Indian Ringneck Parakeet. Which of these names sounds appropriate?

Ari
Onyx
Cairo
Gleam
London

Hi Daryl,I work in engineering at Holden which means nothing at the moment,but today i had some Onyx door trims for a Holden Statesman l had to work out so that is my choice(omen).good luck

I go with Onyx. It's different and original. I have never heard that. Do you know if it is a male or female irn? :wink:

Im not sure yet. The name Onyx sounds more masculine, but I try and find names that go either way. I have narrowed it to Ari or Onix. I like both very mutch.

Hey,

Thank you for all the replies. My IRN is not even a month old yet. A breeder is taking care of him/her untill he/she is old enough to live with me. I visit my IRN often and can't wait untill she/he gets older.

Great!!!!!!!
I will be waiting. My Irn was 4.5 months old when I got him. He is now 5.5 months old. He is the greatest bird I have ever had. I think you will be quiet happy with yours. Have you ever owned one before? Or should I say been owned by one. I wouldn't trade mine for anything. I'm completely in love with him. You will soon see what I mean!!!!!

Hey Colette,

I have owned a green IRN named Lyf who lives with my sister right now due to my big move. Oh yes they are the most precious thing in the whole world. I would not settle for anything other than an IRN. That is why I bought one so young. There are so many things that I love about IRN's. Especially their personality. :lol:

Lyf is always full of life. She will be 4 years old soon! I hope to get a reply this is so mutch fun talking to people that have a love for IRNs!!

i guess I should have paid better attention, cause you did say you had one before. Sorry. :oops:

There are alot of us on here and we all love our birds. There are some very smart people here also. Ringneck is one of them. Very smart person. He (I think) really knows his birds. He is pretty good at telling what sex they are no matter what the age. He only needs a good picture of the bird.
