I will pull the chick if need be but I want to know if this is an option. I would prefer to leave the chick with the parents for a minimum of 10 days then begin to hand feed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Sincerely

Urgent!! Hand feeding Help
I have a one day old chick, I'm worried that my hen isn't feeding the chick or keeping it warm for proper digestion. Has anyone ever taken a chick then returned it to the parents after hand feeding the chick and making sure they are out of harms way? I will pull the chick if need be but I want to know if this is an option. I would prefer to leave the chick with the parents for a minimum of 10 days then begin to hand feed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
