This is the first internet family I have ever had. I love ya'll so much. I have always seen the internet as such an abstract thing and never really gotten into it. But, gotta admit, we a cool arse bunch of people.

We love eachother in probably a more 'real' way than some of the 'real' people in our lives (co-workers for example). We respect eachother, even on issues we disagree on. If one of us goes missing we worry.

Speaking of which, Melika doesnt hang out here anymore. Whats dat alla bout? Anyone know?

Neo you look about all of 18 to me and Jay looks like the sweetest thing on earth. you are awesome offering to do signatures for people.

You know what I really need, a really good flight picture of an IRN.

I am adding to my shoulder tattoo, I have a sunflower very real looking one and I want to elaborate on it and add my kai flying over top, but I can't find a good clear flight, or even better, half flight about to land picture of an IRN anywhere. Any help would be awesome !!

Here are Gelly and I right after she chewed all of those charming holes in my new bird shirt (only time she ever did it -- the brat!). I do usually wear makeup and comb my hair, but you will have to take my word for that!

Here is my Baby and I loving, Jared caught us and snapped a pic. It was grainy because he does well with point n shoots but otherwise, he just has a good camera eye.

He doesnt know about ISO, lighting... et cetera. So, I put this one in Black n White and used 'selective color' on Baby.

This was taken in January of this Year, he was 1.5 years old.

Here is a self-portrait of Baby and I that I took myself (shew, hard work)

I added soft-focus to the image for a dreamy, morning effect and I captured the lighting and interaction between us I was looking for.

Wow just love that pic, great time of the day "early hours of the morning" for taking soft dreamy pics.

Hubby says you should use the camera manually, instead of letting the camera do the work, you should pick your own settings, coz you have some real composure talent and he really likes that shot, he says to tell you its way more fun too.

Guess what I just bought my darlin now that I am working, a Canon EOS 5D and we have all the canon lenses to interchange with it

he is having a blast, learing his new baby, he loves the 1 to 1 conversion and having a true digital SLR. Still just the beginnig of the seious Pro Camera's but well worth the money to see him so happy.

He has done some shots around Melbourne city testing the camera's abilities, but I will try to get some of me with the birds to post up soon.

I dont use my camera in 'auto' much, thats what point n shoots are for, right? :lol:

This shot was, of course, timed for 10 seconds in which I had to run to get baby, run to the window, get posed where we are showing interaction that I wanted to capture... EXTREMELY difficult shot to pull off... by yourself... in 10 seconds!

I like the original better, lacking the soft focus feature but a buyer wanted this in soft focus so I didnt pay attention to which one I loaded here, original or SF.

Nice to see ya'll. I don't actually have pictures of myself with Hane. O_O In fact... I mostly have pictures of my animals and no people- even when on vacations I take more landscape and animal shots, LOL!

When my sister gets back from her vacation I'll use her camera and we'll get some pics with us and our birdies up. I don't have a camera of my own (don't want to spend the money when I can buy bird toys!) so I steal hers periodically. ^_^

Oh, and thanks for the concern, Mik, back in '06. My compy was dead as a doorknob for two years. I suffered withdrawal, but I'm okay, and I missed this place! ^_^

Nope .. not a part of photo sites, never really onine, printed image is always so much more rewarding, he just enjoys capturing great image. He is a part of the art society in town though and is being bugged to start up a course teaching people how to use their digi's to their full potential. Let me know what photo sites you are a part of, would love to check it out.

I would get into my seasonal depression and stop shooting probably if not for my club.

I dont do photo sites now, use to when I was a newbie. I just have my website (which looks like crap right now because my son left it half-way through) where I sell my art.

Those little yellow icons and ribbons didnt meant much to me, I was there for the feedback and criticism. I couldnt get that, all I got was great shot! Splendid! That didnt help me much so I stopped bothering with them, myself.
