good news again

Post by birdman5000 »

my irns hatched their first egg lastnight :D the female (echo is her name) is uber crazy now.

if she hears the cage door open she turns into a suicide bomber she attacked my hand when i stuck it in to tie on a new mineral block and when i pulled my hand out of her way she attacked the mineral block tore it off droped it to the floor and then pushed it to the other side of the cage

but when i walk away and watch. both birds spend most of the time in the box with the male only leaving to eat/drink and he goes back in :)

so it looks like a good start to me :!:

Thats great news, do you know what colour your babies are going to be. Reminds me of when my ringnecks were babies. So cute but I dont wanna play mommy bird to so many babies ever again lol

*If* both parents are split blue there is about a 25% chance you could get a blue baby.

If both parents are split Blue you will have a 25% chance of getting Blues.
If the father is split Lutino, all the baby girls will be Lutino.

Congrats on the baby, hope all goes well
