Re: Double factor violetblue Mauve
Sheyd,
I thought that would be the case.
I have a pair set up which I believe are both df violetbluecobalts, one I breed and another I bought as a violetcobalt but it is too dark and rich in colour for a df violetblue.
Time will tell, both very compatible and currently working the box.

Re: Albino with caramel neck ring
Madas,
Unfortunatley this was some time ago and he has no pictures and I dont know of anyone with any. As I said I haven't seen another one around since then.
Thoughts I have it was cinnamon in the mix as it was at a point here in Aus that cinnamon was all the rage.

Hi All,
Just seeing if anyone has been playing around with the recessive inos through different mutations and whether they have been producing any interesting or different results to the sex linked ino combinations.
Has anyone breed creaminos with the recessive ino mutation?

Hi, You might be surprised, from my breeding results the df violetblue pallids tend to go a grey colour, the sf violet blue palid is the better looking bird. In saying that it depends upon the darkness in the pallid as some pallids are light and these will strip the colour out of the bird, so go wit...

To All,
Yes thats what it appears to be, buttttttttttttttt only one of the parents is carrying the single dark factor, so Mauve??????
I think Madas will sort it out.
There is another mutation in the mix, have a good look at the photo again.
See if you can pick it up, good luck.
