i agree you could pull it or the bird will probably do it itself

i never pull a feather nless its bleeding i do clip a broken one at the point where it is broke and if the bird wants a new one it will pluck the rest of it and a new won will grow back :wink:

try using bitter apple its a spray you can get at most pet stores or supply store or vet office

almost all animals hate the taste of it i know a store owner who used it to stop his amazon parrot to stop plucking

the twice a day bathing might be over doing it too
