I would recommend trying to get him to accept treats held by you through the cage bars. When I got my IRN, Skye, he wasn't tame. He was hand-fed though and was only a few months old when I got him. How old is your IRN and was he handfed? Skye also has clipped wings and did when I got him, too. Are y...

I do! I've had him here for roughly 8 months. No problems. My downstairs neighbor's chihuahuas bark more than my IRN squawks. No one seems to be complaining about them. Skye tends to squawk A LOT when we're watching a loud movie with explosions and stuff in it or my husband is playing our xbox. No o...

Skye's first word!
I brought Sky out into the living room while i was watching tv. He always gets excited when the tv is on. he started making lots of very cute noises. then I said 'hi' in a very musical, bouncy sort of way. And he said it right back! It was slightly muffled and he didn't quite get the enunciation of ...

Sky gets his pellets, seed mix, fruits, and veggies every day. He mainly eats the pellets. Getting him to even try those didn't happen over night. You could try to wet the pellets a bit then mix them in with seed. That way, he ends up eating at least a bit of the pellets. What worked for me was pull...
