when i got our second irn i slowly introduced them
with kieron in a seperate cage this worked well for a while till one day i got up to put them to bed & they were both in rikus cage this worked for them
not all birds do like sharing their cage though

at five months old they irns will show both male & female mating behaviour
still could go either way

it is possible to tame a bird that has been in an avairy all her life but you might never get a bird that likes being patted
take things slow with her let her set the pace
there are heaps of posts about taming on here
she is beautiful
