What makes a lutino a lutino?
I have a yellow hen which i had been calling a lutino until i read that they must have red eyes. My hen has black eyes! She has a red beak (of course) and has white tips on her flight feathers and longest tail feathers. If she isnt a lutino then what would she be? Just yellow? I'm confused when it c...

:x My 3yo male is courting for the first time with our 5yo female. He has always been my big sooky baby. I expect breeding will interfere in our relationship but he has become very skittish and will attack me if i put my hands in the cage. He will come out and sit on my shoulder and give me a quick ...

Sulphur Crested Cocky joining the family...eeeek!
This weekend will have a new addition to the family. A 20yo sulphur crested cocky. He is an aviary bird and has not been handled at all. Should I leave him as an aviary bird or try to interact with him in the hope of handling him? Is he too old to tame? Ive done lots of research on the net and I thi...

Help with colour mutation of my male
This is my gorgeous 3 yo irn Rafiki. I have had him since he was weened however I have never given his colour a title. He was always a limey green kind of colour but since gaining his ring he has pale blue around the back of his head around his ring and (when he has it) always has one half blue tail...
