Ooooh I am glad you are that Mazzie!

Your site was so helpful! My choice to get an IRN was difficult. Most sites are so uninformed. Everywhere I went, they were downplaying this wonderful bird. Most of them told about their amazing colors but that they weren't campanion parrots. I heard some pretty lame excuses to why other's IRNs were...

Hey are you the one with the website about how you tamed down an IRN named Mazzie, a lutino? You sound like you are but then again I would be just putting two and two together and getting five... If you do run that site (the background is yellow and this one does run a bird rescue...once again it's ...

Hey for the first few months my Prinny was sooo quiet. She would squawk everyonce once in a while and was silent. Lately however she has become more vocal. I guess it takes being used to the home they live in

Let me tell you from first hand exp. that their bite can and do hurt but it is their choice whether or not to really clamp on. They can hurt but most of the time my Prinny just does it has a warning. She just gently beaks my hand and pushes it away. Now she can really clamp on but that is when she i...

Hi there! I too have an albino IRN named Prinny (BTW We love pics around here so do post ) Truly there is no differece between the sexes coloring when it comes to albino IRNs. Today I am positive I have a female. She did tilt her head back and pin her eyes happily when I petted her. She looked just like Mikaela's Boo. I don't really care if Prinny is a boy or girl (however it would help if she was a girl as her name is Princess... )

Um clucking like a chicken??? Male or Female?

Hi I was wondering if someone could help me! Is clucking like a chicken a female trait or male? Obviously I own an albino IRN so this little one will not be getting a ring if s/he is a boy. We are pretty sure it's a she by the way she acts. However, s/he does sit like a little puffball of feathers. ...

Hi! I personally have owned all three types of birds you are talking about. First off if you like quiet tame birds that rarelly bite and don't go trough a stage called 'bluffing' then stay with a tiel or budgie! IRNs are very tempermental and can be little terrors when they want to be. Their attitud...

Hi and congrats on your new baby

Hi there! The most you can do for now is just let your baby get used to you. I let Prinny sit in her cage and come out only when she wanted for a week before I actually went in and tried to take her out on my own. My baby is bluffing right now so she is being a holy terror. She is lunging and treate...

hmm costs

Costs are a very hard thing to predict. Around here in Southern California the greens go for 175 all the way up to albinos that are over 750. It reallly depends. The cheapest bird you can get is a green (BTW not that I personally feel like they are cheap) but that is because they are a 'common' vari...
