ok... I may be way off but I tried it again! Turquoise Blue male (one parent was blue) with green lacewing:

male
50.0% 1.0 green /turquoise(parblue) pallid
50.0% 1.0 green /blue pallid
female
50.0% 0.1 green /turquoise(parblue)
50.0% 0.1 green /blue

Am I off???

Thanks again Jay! :)

(I have been trying the genetic calculator but with no luck!)

The male is lutino and I believe the green lacewing is female. Is there any other pairings that would be more optimal? I do have a turquoise male also...

Thanks Jay! The top one looks right - Green Lacewing. I was searching for some pics...

Question about a color...

Hi all! I don't post much but I am on here reading all the time. I have a question about a ringneck I just saw at a store... It looked yellow but also had hints of green (almost like a green wash). It's legs and toes were a peachy flesh color. They had it labeled as a lutino but it didn't have the r...

Just by looking at that, cage it can be seen that it is not large enough for any ringneck. You state the height at being 40 cm which equates to roughly 16 inches. The average length of an IRN is 14-17 inches. This barely leaves enough room for the tail feathers. I believe you mentioned in another to...

Thanks Jim! When I got my turquoise, he just had pins (got him in a trade and handfed him). I saw both parents and they were blue... I was a little bummed because I wanted a true blue but I am happy with what I got. I did show him to the breeder I got him from and she said that if she had known he w...

Genetics Questions....

Hi! I have been watching these topics and now I am curious... I have a lutino male, turquoise male and a blue female. I know the parents of my turquoise were blue but I don't know any more. My question is, what are the possibilities with either pairings, turqoise male/blue female or lutino male/blue...

Thanks for the warm welcome! Welcome! Your fids are lovely! Is Gordie blue or green (or is he one that looks different depending on the light?). He was a really pretty turqouise color but after his first molt.... the feathers came in green! So, he is a mix of blue, turqouise and green right now. I t...

Hello!

Hello everyone! I stumbled on this site when I was having questions about my IRN. This site is loaded with great information! I look forward to learning from you all... Here is a picture of my little Gordie. He is about 10 months (?). I handfed him and I have had him since he was about four weeks. O...
