So my bird just laid her first egg... And she doesn't even have a boyfriend.

its kind of cute because my sister recently had a baby, and she was in my room with the bird out of her cage. ciqala went up the baby and with the top part of her beak gently kind of i quess caressed the baby's arm.i know its prob not good bc of little birdy germs, but she's never been interested in...

huh so ciqala has recently started licking and lightly nibbling my skin. whats up with that? if its for the salt i thought birds weren't really supposed to have that?

its more the dresser its self she chews on and a picture thing that no matter where i move she tries to get to it. ill have to see about a play gym for her. she usually ignores any toys i get her

chewing on furniture!!
is there a way to discourage my bird from chewing on furniture and other things? i have toys in her cage and switch them out but she never seems towant anything to do with them. she has free reign of the top of my dresser because it is safe from the cats but all she does is chew things on it

she paid 200 when she got the bird when it was 5 and they charged 200 bc i was older so now that she's even older 200 seems like too much...i hate to put a price on ciqala but theres only so much i can pay

i just love how ciqala loves to be pet. first thing in the morning when i uncover her she comes to her door squishes up her head sticks out her butt and pins like crazy. she also coos and clucks and makes kissy noises.its soooo cute and makes me smile no matter how many hrs i stand there petting her...

mine sitson my shoulder. flaps when se wants to go to her room, has nibbled my ear but i was nor sure if sews gonna bite me so i would move my head( she only does this when i am wearing my dove earrings). she will sit on my hand only if i am petting her
