Re: Scared bird?
And he is hand raised. Hand tamed. About 17 wks i think and we've had him for about a wks. He is still settling in but is okay with us holding him. But is very sensitve to sudden movements which makes him harder to tame.
Sorry for calling him a she then he lol not sure which one so y not both ?

I few things that come to mind on what scared her was the noise of the garage door opening. Its quite loud and sudden. But then again...

Is it okay for my IRN to growl and pin eyes becoming quite aggressive through bluffing. Is he really irritated or is this normal?

He is still adorable tho. I have a feeling its his personality because he is very quiet and he can sqwak (he fell once)...

Opening mouth and poking tounge.
Today when i came home i went to kiki. Kiki was fluffed up and seem happy so i picked him up. The vacum was on (someone cleaning) so i couldnt really hear any noises kiki made. I said hi and opened his mouth and kinda stretched his tongue out, with his neck kinda stretched. I repeated hi a few times...

Re: Overreacting ?
13 wks. He has toys available in his cage but not sheddabke as there is no where to place them other than the ground of his cage but he doesnt like it down there.
Occasionally he plays with them not often.
I offer he paper to play with when out his cage but he doesnt seem keen.
