So we got our first IRN from rescue. 20 months old and female I think.

She instantly bonded to me, a male of the human species Wink (but doesnt want attention from anyone else).

Anyway, I place her on my shoulder and she sits there with her head as tight against my neck as possible and continually chirps while I scratch her head and neck. She sits in a "bowed " position.

She will do this for a solid 45 minutes before she gets enough and decides its time to explore the environment or she will start grooming my hair.

I am assuming this is some sort of mating behavior?

Anytime I pass the cage she assumes this position and chirps begging for contact.

Is this normal all year round or is this just a seasonal behavior?
Is this a common IRN behavior?

She probebly just reeeeeeally likes you. Thankfull you rescued her?
IRNs seem to go through moods. Sometimes they dont want anything to do with you then other times they want you all the time! (Well, thats my experience)

She sounds like a real sweetheart! Wink
