hi my names luke and have recently purchased a silver ringneck named ray.i think he is probably 12-13 weeks old at the moment ,still very wary of me .i spend a few hours a day with him. any tips would be greatly appreciated.  |

Hi Luke,
Glad to have you and Ray join us. Let me be the first to beg for pictures of Ray (I have baby birds begging their parents for food in the background, so I can do it really well). Several folks have new babies , so I think you will find lots of great advice on the board, as well as available from the "flock". Does he let you handle him? eating well (and lots of things?)? Mostly in or out of the cage? A new fid is such fun, and such a challenge.

| no he wont let me handle him yet , he eats very well and loves grapes. let hime out of his cage twice but he wont go back in lol. will get pictures done soon. |

Ohhh Luke... very nice name.
I have a Matthew, Luke, did your mama name you from the bible too? I named my son after a particular verse.
You should ask her... bet it has a lot of meaning behind it.
